Gasolina to play Real Madrid in UEFA Champions League semi-final

Gasolina have won their first game of the season, beating Alaves 2-0 on aggregate.

The Basque side were the surprise package in the Europa League, as they went unbeaten in their first seven games of the competition.

They were beaten 4-1 by Olympiakos in the quarter-finals but overcame a 2-1 aggregate deficit in the last-16 by beating Athletic Bilbao 2-2 on aggregate in the Champions League.

In the UEFA Champions Leagues semi-finals, the hosts reached the last 16 in their group but ended up losing 3-1 to Monaco.

They are now three points behind the leaders Juventus in the race for the trophy, who are also in the group stage.
